Meet the team:
Seitebaleng is an associate at Medu Capital and is responsible for investment execution and management.
Seitebaleng has over 10 years of investment banking and project finance experience.
Prior to joining Medu Capital, Seitebaleng was involved in corporate and project finance advisory at Fieldstone Africa. She gained her investment banking experience working at Rothschild where she was involved in mergers & acquisitions, strategic advisory and capital markets mandates. She has also previously worked at the Public Investment Corporation in the Economic Infrastructure team as a transactor.
Sandile is an associate at Medu Capital and is responsible for investment execution and management.
He has 11 years’ experience in auditing, transaction services and mergers and acquisitions.
After qualifying with Ernst & Young, Sandile briefly stayed as an audit assistant manager before joining KPMG as a manager in transaction services where he performed financial due diligence assessments. Sandile also spent over 3 years at Barclays Africa in their corporate development division performing acquisitions, disposals and capital raise for Barclays Africa Group companies.connect
Leone is the Chief Financial Officer at Medu Capital and is responsible for the group financial management, investor reporting and relations.
Leone has 9 years experience in auditing, financial management and private equity. She has worked at the PricewaterhouseCoopers, as well as Nodus Investment Managers.connect
Godlief is a Partner at Medu Capital and is responsible for investment execution and management.
Godlief has 15 years’ experience in auditing, corporate finance and private equity to his credit.
After qualifying with Ernst & Young, Godlief joined the corporate finance division of Investec Bank where he gained experience in all aspects of corporate finance, including mergers and acquisitions, disposals, JSE listings and BEE transactions.

Ernest is a co-founder and Director of Medu Capital, and is responsible for the strategic development of Medu Capital and investment execution and management.
He has 25 years experience in auditing and investment management. After qualifying with Deloitte & Touche, Ernest was appointed as audit manager at Deloitte’s entrepreneurial services division. He later joined Anglo American as a research analyst in their investment and treasury department before being promoted to Portfolio Manager and later Divisional Investment Manager responsible for Anglo American’s pension fund portfolio. Ernest joined RMB Asset Management where he gained invaluable experience in strategic marketing and managing public sector portfolios. He was appointed as a director of RMB Asset Management responsible for transformation and investment management.

Nhlanganiso is a co-founder and Director of Medu Capital and is responsible for the strategic development of Medu Capital, investment execution and management.
He has 26 years experience in auditing, management consulting and private equity investing. After qualifying with Deloitte & Touche, Nhlanganiso joined Gemini Consulting as a consultant in strategy development and business transformation projects. He later joined Brait Private Equity and was appointed as a director.
Nhlanganiso serves on a number of boards of various companies.
